Be obsessed with becoming a woman who’s comfortable in her own skin.

Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.

The word “boudoir” instantly makes you think you have to be naked or show yourself in ways you aren’t comfortable with. I’ve reinvented that thought for everyone who has done these shoots with me! Lingerie and nudity is not required. Actually, there is only one requirement: be yourself. Boudoir photoshoots can be done in any type of clothing, so please don’t stress about if you have an outfit or not. The point to these shoots, is for you to gain more confidence in yourself and really grasp the understanding that you should love yourself no matter what you’re wearing!

How it began

7 years ago my best friend, Chelsea and I set up a “boudoir shoot” at her house as a test to see if it was something I could do. We set up curtains, sheets and lights, and then photographed until we ran out of ideas. The turnout was not that bad for what we had to work with… With that under my belt, I decided to strike out and find a studio to rent for a day and give everyone the experience! Chelsea and I hauled furniture, home decor, gift bags, and so much more to this studio on the first go round. We quickly learned we didn’t need half of what we brought, because it wasn’t about the props. It was about the women that signed up and what they need confidence in. It was that moment that we realized we were literally changing women’s lives! Over the course of the boudoir journey, we’ve cried, laughed, and had some amazing feedback that just can’t be expressed.

 FAQs

  • All boudoir sessions are held in Boone, NC. There is a studio in the area that I can rent hourly where everything needed is available.

  • Typically, no. Unless I’m holding a boudoir “marathon”, there will not be an artist available at your session.

  • The answer is no. Here is why: You should feel your absolute best in whatever makes YOU feel comfortable. No one should feel limited and/or forced to wear something specific that may be outside of their comfort zone.

  • Yes. However, feel free to bring your friend! My only advice to bring someone who will make you feel amazing about yourself.

  • It’s a day planned specifically for boudoir sessions. Sometimes, there will be 10 sessions back-to-back in a days’ time. For these events, hair + makeup, snacks, gift bags, etc., will be on site. These events will be heavily advertised and the slots will fill up fast. If you see me advertise one, hurry and book your session!

  • There is no cap on outfits! However, me recommendation is maximum 3 outfit changes during an hour slot.
